Site Overview

The Scottish Neighbourhood Statistics (SNS) web site gives you access to a wide range of information for any area of Scotland from a Local Authority right down to Data Zones. (Which contain around 750 household residents.)


The site comprises five main sections:


Standard Reporter


A tool for producing quick reports about any area of Scotland. There are 5 easy to use reports that simply require you to choose the geographic area(s) you are interested in and the type of data.


Advanced Reporter


A highly flexible, three-step wizard incorporating interactive maps for generating pre-defined or custom reports about any area of Scotland.


Data Download


Three different ways of downloading data to your computer for further manipulation. This also allows you to download Geography files.


Data Guide


A tool for exploring the information made available through this web site. Here you can find descriptions of indicators in each topic and the geographies they are available for.


User Guide


This is the tool that you are currently using, which assists users with the site and explains its capability.
