View statistics to show how your chosen area has changed over time on your chosen indicator and make comparisons to Scottish change.
The 'Change over Time' report allows comparison over time to be made for all the core indicators for a selected zone.
An example could be to see the values for all the core indicators available for a Local Authority for up to 10 years worth of data in the database.
You will be asked to select the Area Type and a single Area of that Area Type. An example could be to choose an Area Type of 'Local Authority' and then within that an Area of 'Glasgow City'.
You will then choose a Topic from a dropdown menu. Only Topics that have indicators for the selected Area Types will be displayed in the drop-down list.
On pressing 'Get Report' the statistics are displayed in tabular format with the core indicators within that topic down the left hand side. The area chosen will be displayed as part of the heading, along with uniquely identifying data. For each core indicator there will be a column of figures for each available aggregation.
A map is available from a 'Map' tab to confirm the area you have chosen.
There is also a 'Chart' tab that displays a line chart for each indicator, with the years on the X-axis and the values on the Y-axis. A chart is produced for any indicator that contains a percentage or rate.
