This tabular report allows you to look at data for the indicators included in Version 4 of the Improvement Service's menu of local indicators. This version of the menu has been arrived at through the SOLACE led improving local indicators project. The project is continuing and the menu will be improved as and when required. Changes to the menu will be reflected in this SNS report.

Some indicators have been removed from Version 3 of the menu and consequently removed from this SNS report. These indicators are still available and can be found using the Advanced Reporter.

The following indicators are not currently on SNS but will be added as soon as possible:

Number of patients waiting more than 6 weeks for discharge to appropriate setting
Number of social housing completions
Percentage of adults rating the condition of their house or flat as good
Homeless households in temporary accommodation as a percentage of all households
The proportion of homeless households assessed as priority homeless
Fuel poverty
School leaver destinations

Some indicators will have more recent data added in the near future.

Using the report:

There are four steps to the report.

First you are asked to choose the indicators that you are interested in. There is currently only one option available – Local outcome indicators. [C.N1]

You are then asked to select the geographic Area Type you are interested in (For example Scotland , Local Authority or Health Board.).

The third drop down box allows you to select a specific geographic area within that area type for which you wish to see the data. (For example, a particular Local Authority).

The fourth [C.N2] drop down box allows you to select whether you are interested in the most recent data or a time series of data for the indicators and specific geography you've selected. If you select most recent data it will only show the latest year or quarter of data loaded onto the site. The time series option will show every year or quarter loaded for each indicator. This will vary across the indicators and more information can be found in the metadata for each indicator.

Once you have made your selections, run the report by clicking Get Report and your table will appear. This can then be downloaded to your pc by clicking on Report Data Download and choosing either open or save.
